The Mining Industry Human Resources Council MiHR January 27th until February 26th, 2010.
Their goal is to have at least 25 to 30 companies who are actively recruiting take part in the event. This is a great opportunity to talk to company representative and apply for jobs online.

There will be some sessions/workshops at the Union Hall on November 12, 14 and 16 at 4:30pm.
There will be financial planners and tax accountants from the Investor's Group coming in.
Also Denise O'Neil from Kitimat Employment Services Centre will be in here giving advice on
building your resume, job searching, and what options are out there for
people (transitions program, etc.).

Production Bonus
Production Incentive kicks in at 1100 tpd or higher, no payout for less than 1100 tpd at the closure date
Payout is approximately $13 per tpd from Nov.1 to closure date at 1100 tpd
Payout above that is $0.13 per tpd
Payout is per day of operation.
For example if we average 1300 tpd over the period the payout would be $39 per day of operation
For a 1300tpd average the calculation is $13(based on the first 1100 tpd) + $26 (200 tpd * .13)=$39 per day
Only full time employees on the payroll on the date of closure will be eligible
Bonuses to individual employees may be adjusted down in the case of excessive absenteeism
Given that the recovery boiler went down before the announcement we won't start the clock until Nov 1st or 2nd
